Frontend developer based in Malmö, Sweden. I came to software through a decade in emergency medicine — a background that left me obsessive about getting things right under pressure, communicating clearly, and building things that actually work.
I spent nearly a decade as an EMT and then paramedic in Skåne. You learn quickly in that environment, every call is different, every decision has a consequence, and there is no room for vagueness. I became obsessive about clear thinking, calm under pressure, and getting things done correctly the first time. I didn't know it then, but those habits would follow me into software.
I started learning to code at nights and weekends. I had always been drawn to computers, I just hadn't made the leap. The more I built, the more obvious it became that software and medicine weren't as different as they seemed. Both are about solving real problems for real people, under real constraints. I handed in my notice in 2022.
Since making the switch I've worked on client projects, freelance builds, and personal experiments. I gravitate toward the frontend, the part of software that people actually see and touch. I care about how things feel, not just how they work. Angular and Next.js are my daily drivers, GSAP is what I reach for when something needs to feel alive.
